Futad Advertising at Arab Cup
With 16 international football teams, 32 exciting matches, 6 incredible stadiums, and more than 571,600 attendances, Qatar has successfully hosted the first edition of FIFA Arab Cup, which took place in the period from November 30th to December 2021. Futad Advertising was honored to be a part of this important sporting event by being a service provider for Ooredoo (Regional Supporter) and McDonald’s (FIFA Arab Cup Sponsor). We provided our creative ideas and digital activations for our clients to entertain their fans.

Holographic Football Player
For the first time in Qatar, holographic players are here!
We brought holography technology, to be the first and only company to offer it in Qatar. It aimed to provide our client Ooredoo with a three-dimensional (3D) player to interact with fans at the FIFA Arab Cup of 2021. The main concept was to let the fans play the role of the goalkeeper and save their goals after their favorite holographic football player shoots the ball. This brand-new, innovative, and interactive game gained a lot of popularity among the audience and was featured on popular figures’ social media pages. The Holographic Football Player Game succeeded at entertaining people and making them enjoy their experience at Ooredoo’s booth.
180 Photo Booth
After succeeding at Ooredoo’s booth in the F1 Grand Prix, our 180 Photo Booth was also a part of Ooredoo’s Arab Cup booth. The concept of this photo booth is to provide the audience with a new way to save memories and replace traditional still photos, as our 180 Photo Booth allowed fans to take “boomerang” videos. With Ooredoo’s customized filters and props, fans were happy to get their digital photos sent to their emails or devices to save them.
Try Out Jersey
Using our high-quality, interactive LED screens, we enabled Ooredoo’s visitors to virtually try on their favorite team’s jersey and take pictures wearing it. Visitors stood in front of the screen, interacted with it using their hand gestures, selected the jersey they liked, and the screen took pictures of them. It was an enjoyable way to make memories and save them.
Game of Goals
We supplied McDonald’s booth with an enjoyable virtual way of shooting a ball and scoring a goal. The concept of this virtual penalty kick game is to allow football lovers to shoot and score virtually, by simply standing on a marked point, kicking towards the virtual goal, and our virtual goalkeeper will either save it or miss it. This concept doesn’t involve physical balls, hence, there was no need to worry about losing the ball, nor running to collect it! This game was loved by McDonald’s visitors, especially kids.
180 Photo Booth
This activation rental became very popular that it became an essential element in each event for many of our clients. McDonald’s fans enjoyed making boomerang memories with McDonald’s props and filters, capturing happiness and joy.
