FUTAD brings Qatar’s first shared-VR LBE experience with Atlantis-The Immersive Odyssey.

In June 2024, FUTAD introduced Atlantis — The Immersive Odyssey, marking a major milestone in Qatar’s immersive entertainment landscape.
Hosted at Msheireb Galleria Mall, Atlantis was FUTAD’s first ticketed location-based entertainment project and introduced what FUTAD describes as the first shared-VR LBE experience brought to Qatar. Unlike conventional individual VR experiences, shared virtual reality allows multiple participants to enter and experience the same virtual environment together, creating a more social and collaborative form of immersive entertainment.
Atlantis combined shared VR, immersive environments, interactive digital experiences and experiential storytelling into a public entertainment destination designed for families and visitors. For FUTAD, the project marked an important transition from developing technology-led experiences primarily for brands and events to creating and operating its own ticketed immersive entertainment destination.
The experience was covered by Gulf Madhyamam on 16 June 2024, highlighting Atlantis and its virtual-reality-led attraction in Doha.
